Billy gets his new arm!

A young boy from Leeds has been enjoying lots of fun, new activities with the help of his Bionic Arm thanks to funding from Positive Bones, Open Bionics and private donations.

From fishing to cycling, learning to write and catching footballs Billy shared smiles with Positive Bones founder as he proudly showed off his new skills. Billy told Positive Bones founder and amputee, Josephine Bridges, that he “literally cried” when he found out he had the funding. Donna, Billy’s mum, talked about how much his confidence has been boosted and how easy she found the process of applying. Watch Billy talk all about his new Iron Man themed bionic arm with Josephine and see all the things he’s been up to in the gallery below!
