3 Peaks, 1 Week, 1 Leg

  • Hike One: Caernarfon, Wales, LL55 4UL United Kingdom (map)

To raise money for Positive Bones, a charity for limb difference; Josephine Bridges, an amputee, will be hiking the 3 peaks! She will be hiking the 3 highest peaks in the UK (Snowdon, Scafell Pike and Ben Nevis), which is a challenge for most able bodied people but even more so for an amputee. It’s just over 10,000 feet so she is aiming to match the distance with donations and fundraise £10,000. This money will go directly to Positive Bones so that they can continue to help amputees and those with limb differences.

I have been really fortunate to have been supported by the kindness of strangers. Through their donations I had the opportunity to buy my prosthetic that enables me to do challenges such as this one, so let’s do it for someone else with limb difference. Its 10,000 feet to hike so lets match the distance with donations and raise £10,000 for Positive Bones!
