World Tin Bath Championship

Robert Bostrom prepares to make a splash for Positive Bones at the World Tin Bath Championship!

Support Robert as he sets out in his tin bath in a bid to raise money for Positive Bones!

“Held in Middle Harbour in Castletown this event is, as it sounds, a race around the harbour in strictly regulated tin baths, some of which may be less than seaworthy. Organised by the Castletown Real Ale Drinkers Society the race was started in 1971 and all the money raised by the event goes to local charities.

Over 100 entrants attempt the 400m course each year including visitors from around the world. In addition to the main race there is plenty else to do on the day including the "Snake Race" around the harbour and attempts at human-powered flight to watch, making it an ideal day out for the family.” - Visit IOM, Accessed 2022.

Watch the action on our Social Media, we love all of our fundraisers from the extreme to the extraordinary, the mad to the magnificent, the challenges to the championships!
