Toyah’s Snowdon Challenge!

Earlier this year we received an email from recent amputee, Toyah, requesting one of our fundraising packs. She has decided to take on the challenge of hiking Snowdon to celebrate one year since her amputation and to raise funds for limb difference charity, Positive Bones! In her own words:

Amputee climbs miners path at Snowdon to raise money for limb difference charity Positive Bones

“To mark the one year anniversary of my below knee amputation I have decided to take on the challenge to climb Snowdon. On the 22nd April 2025 , myself and four friends/ family members will be making the 4 1/2 mile trip to the top of Snowdon and then back down again. We will be hiking the miners path as this is a route I completed prior to becoming an amputee. This will be my first big challenge since becoming an amputee and I am keen to prove to myself that I will not let my amputation stop me from achieving my goals.”

We are extremely grateful to Toyah for selecting Positive Bones as the charity for this fundraiser and wish her all the best in her climb!

If you want to support Toyah click the below donation link, or if you are inspired to fundraise too, then. request one of our fundraising packs and we will be in touch!
