World Tin Bath Championships
In July 2022, Robert (Bob) set out in the World Tin Bath Championships in a bid to raise money for Positive Bones! With tall his 6ft4 frame squeezed into his little red tin bath he finally answered the question ‘To Bob, or not to Bob’ with the answer being - to sink!
The Zurich Lighthouses Challenge!
On Sunday 3rd of July, Sean Bostrom and Graham Midghall set out to take on the Zurich Lighthouses Challenge on a tandem bike to raise money and awareness for Positive Bones!
The PB Parish Walk!
Our incredible ambassador, Emily Bostrom, took on the challenge of walking 85miles in 24hours as part of The Parish Walk to raise money and awareness of Positive Bones!
3 Peaks, 1 Week, 1 Leg!
On the 19th of July amputee, Josephine, and her 3 Peaks team (Sean, Robert, Emily, Tracy, Nicholas, Yegor and Yulia) set-off on a mission to climb 10,000 feet in order to raise £10,000 for Positive Bones. The 10,000 feet in question would be covered over the course of 3 mountains, the 3 highest peaks within the UK; Snowdon, Scafell Pike and Ben Nevis.
WALL OF DEATH!
On the 25th of July, Paul Malin with the support of the world famous Ken Fox Troupe, took on the Wall of Death at the MotoFest in Coventry and completed it with ease. He impressed the stunt group so much that they have asked for a repeat performance at the Ipswich Festival of Wheels, allowing him to continue his fundraising efforts.
3 Peaks, 1 Week, 1 Leg campaign featured in the LancsLive News!
Amputee and PB Founder, Josephine Bridge’s has been feature in the LancsLive news after she announced her plans to climb the 3 peaks (Snowdon, Scafell Pike and Ben Nevis) to raise money for Positive Bones as a part of her 3 Peaks, 1 Week, 1 Leg campaign.
Band and Quiz Night
Edmund Jeffers, Geoff Quayle, Tom Hughes, Sarah Sutton and Joanne Craine all ran in the Syd Quirk Half Marathon on the Isle of Man in late 2018, on behalf of Positive Bones. Shaking money tubs and wearing Positive Bones t-shirts they braced the island’s famous winds and ran the 21km raising money along the way.
Socket Comfort for Amputees

Josephine Bridges kayaked a total of 40 miles and 50 locks soon after her amputation - an incredible demonstration of the resilience she and so many people living with limb differences show every day.

Douglas Soap Box Race!
Each year Douglas, Isle of Man holds a soap box race on its main streets, locals take part in their homemade soap box racers and for 2 years running Positive Bones has had its very own Soap Box!

River Thames Swim
Bracing the freezing cold waters of the River Thames, Emma Sparrow took herself into the waters as part of a sponsored swim. Setting herself the challenge Emma knew she had to do something out of her comfort zone to really embrace the fundraising effort and she absolutely did!
Valentines Ball
On Valentines night in 2019 Cinderella went to the ball to auction for some incredible donated prizes and raise money for Positive Bones in the process. The night was an amazing success with a grand total of £10,000 raised!
The Positive Bones Post Office
Throughout 2019 Warnsworth Post Office raised money for Positive Bones through bake sales and money tubs kept on the counter, not only did they spread awareness of Positive Bones but they also raised money in the process!
